Now follow these steps to root Sony Xperia Z

Download the “Sony Flash tool” on your computer and then extract it in a folder.

• You’ll find .exe file there, install it and start the application just installed.
• Take out the original USB cable and connect your Sony Xperia Z to the computer with that.
• Start the command prompt on Windows (press Windows + R button then type “cmd” and press OK) and type “shutdown –o-r-t o” and then press enter.
• A prompt will be there, select “Disable Driver Signing” and then install the drivers of the tool you just downloaded by choosing “Have Disk” option.
• Now download the “Rooting toolkit” on your computer and extract it.
• Run the “RunMe.bat” file and within few seconds you’ll see a message “Restore Data”.
• Now follow the screen options to restore the data that was earlier backup on your device. Once it get complete then you’ll see “Restoring data is completed”.
• Go to the phone dialer and dial “*#*#7378423#*#*” and select “Service tests” from the service menu.
